Progress Report June 2026

It's been a pretty good month.  Reformation, book 3, is now at 51k words, which is an increase of about 10k words since the end of May. I edited the first short story in Recollections and added two more, so now it's at 8440 words. An increase of about 6000.  Revelation, the prequel, is at 31k words, which is an increase of about 4000. Generally this book is going really slowly. I know where I want it to go, but the way to get there is just dredging on. And to be honest I'm not sure I even like the 4000 words I managed to churn out in June. But that's an editorial problem. Get the story out on "paper" is the first order of business. Once that's done we can start looking at making it pretty, making it good.  The main reason why Revelation is taking so long is probably because Reformation is demanding my attention more, but what happens in Revelation is strongly tied with events in Reformation so I need Revelation to be completed to be sure that events in Ref...
